For the past three years, after becoming a mother,
I believed I was doing everything right.
I worked hard.
I managed my responsibilities.
I held my family together.
I told myself, “I’m doing my best.”
But the truth I was afraid to face was this:
I was present in roles — but absent in moments.
I was there, yet not truly with my child.
I heard her voice, but I didn’t fully listen.
I saw her tears, but I responded with instructions instead of comfort.
I was exhausted from work,
and I forgot how exhausting it was for her —
waiting for her mother.
⸻
When Love Speaks Without Words
A three-year-old will never say,
“Please be emotionally present with me.”
Children speak through emotions.
Through crying.
Through resistance.
Through behavior that simply asks, “See me.”
And in that realization, everything changed.
Children don’t need perfect parents.
They don’t need successful titles or busy achievements.
They need presence.
Not a mother who controls every outcome,
but one who sits beside them, looks into their eyes,
and says softly,
“I’m here. You are safe.”
⸻
Choosing Presence Over Performance
I allow myself to be honest.
For three years, I missed moments I can never get back.
I don’t blame my job.
I don’t blame society.
I don’t blame expectations.
I simply accept the truth —
and choose differently.
Leaving my corporate career wasn’t a failure.
It was an act of love.
I didn’t leave because I lacked ambition,
but because I finally understood
that love matters more than status.
I now stand at a powerful threshold.
In just a short time, my child will enter school.
Her world will expand beyond our home.
Soon, I won’t be her whole world anymore.
So I choose this chapter intentionally.
I want her to remember:
“My mother was truly there.”
⸻
It Is Never Too Late to Begin Again
Some say,
“It’s already too late. Your child is grown.”
Even books declare,
“By kindergarten, it’s too late.”
But the heart knows a deeper truth.
Children don’t need a perfect past.
They need a present that feels safe, loving, and real.
It is never too late
to apologize with sincerity.
to hug without distraction.
to put the phone down.
to listen without rushing.
It is never too late
to become a fully present mother —
even if the journey begins at forty.
⸻
Turning 40: The Beginning of My True Self
Turning forty was not an ending.
It was an awakening.
The beginning of being a mother with presence.
A woman who honors truth.
A human being brave enough to choose what truly matters.
A New Year, A New Intention — 2026
In 2026, I chose quality over quantity.
Connection over comfort.
Meaning over routine.
I stepped away from the familiar path
and created a wellness space —
not only for myself,
but for others seeking balance, healing, and strength.
⸻
Healing Through Sound, Mindfulness, and Stillness
After losing my younger brother nearly nine years ago,
my heart searched for healing.
It found refuge in Sound Bath therapy.
Through sound vibrations, breath, and mindfulness,
I experienced deep emotional release and nervous system healing.
Sound taught me something powerful:
Healing doesn’t require force.
It requires listening.
This journey gave birth to Crystal Voyage —
a space created from lived experience,
offering sound healing and mindfulness practices
to restore inner calm and emotional balance.
⸻
Where Mind and Body Heal Together
As healing deepened,
another truth became clear:
A healthy mind needs a strong, supported body.
Movement became my medicine.
Strength became self-respect.
Consistency became self-love.
That is how Spanda Studio was born.
A Pilates and Wellness Studio rooted in the belief that
Mind and Body must grow, heal, and evolve together.
Through Pilates, mindful movement, sound healing,
and holistic wellness practices,
we support sustainable health —
not perfection, but balance.
⸻
This Is My Pursuit of Passion and Happiness
Spanda Studio is not just a studio.
It is a reflection of lived experience, healing, and intention.
A place where movement meets mindfulness.
Where strength meets softness.
Where presence becomes a practice.
Thank you for taking the time to read our story.
May you find what truly matters to you.
May you listen to your body.
May you honor your heart.
And may you live each day with awareness, health, and joy.
Happy New Year 2026
and Happy Thai Children’s Day 🧡
With love and intention,
Pakkad (PK) & Family
